Warranty conditions



AKRONE watches are made with passion and great care, according to the strictest quality standards of French watchmaking. At AKRONE, we ensure that watches are checked many times during manufacture, assembly and just before shipment. This is why every new purchaser benefits from an international guarantee of 3 years (36 months) from the date of delivery. The international warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship existing at the time of delivery of the AKRONE watch.


The guarantee comes into effect from the time the warranty certificate is issued dated and completed by us. During the duration of the warranty, and upon presentation of the valid warranty certificate, we repair covered defects free of charge. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of spare parts.


In case the normal operating conditions of your AKRONE watch cannot be restored by repairs, we undertake to replace it with an identical or similar aKRONE watch.


Repairing or replacing the watch during the warranty period does not have the effect of starting again or prolonging this period.


However, under Article L217-16 of the Consumer Code, if during the course of the commercial guarantee, a refurbishment covered by the warranty is requested, any downtime period of at least seven days is added to the duration of the guarantee that remained to be run. This period is short from the purchaser's request for intervention or the provision of the property in question, if this provision is after the request for intervention.


The warranty does not cover:



      • Failure to perform the checks and revisions of the watch recommended by Akrone to ensure durability and proper functioning.


      • Magnetism. Don't expose your watch to intense magnetic fields such as a speaker, refrigerator, computer, mobile phone, airport gantry or other electromagnetic kitchen appliance...


      • Normal wear and ageing (e.g., glass stripe, alteration of the colour and/or material of bracelets, such as leather, rubber, textiles) as well as the buckles and pumps of the bracelets.


      • Damage resulting from incorrect, inappropriate or abusive use, lack of care or maintenance, negligence, accidents (falls, blows, dents, crushing, glass breakage, etc.).


      • Apparent defects not reported when receiving the watch,


      • Indirect or consecutive damage, whatever it may be, resulting in the use, non-operation or lack of precision of the AKRONE watch.


      • The AKRONE watch handled by a non-approved person or whose original condition has been altered or altered outside AKRONE's control.  


      • Theft, loss, force majeure, natural disasters.


The commercial guarantee:


      • Combines with the legal guarantees recalled in AKRONE's general terms of sale


      • Is independent of any other guarantee that may be provided by the seller and for which he is solely liable.




      • The Drift. The mechanical movement is adjusted and controlled by our watchmakers to be as precise and constant as possible. However, it is difficult for us to guarantee a drift at + or - 20 sec/day. In addition, to ensure optimum operation, it is advisable to pay attention to the electromagnetic fields and shocks that may interfere with the smooth running of your AKRONE watch.
      • THESealing. Seals have a limited life span. Remember to check the water-resistance of your watch every year.
      • Wristbands and Accessories are not covered by the warranty.



Quality control is carried out in-house by our watchmaker.


If you wish to put the commercial guarantee at stake, you must inform us by sending us an email to or by completing the form online, and by attaching all supporting documents (e.g. photographs).


After checking the watch and the application of the warranty, we are committed to implementing the warranty in accordance with the applicable conditions as soon as possible. The return costs will be at our expense in this case, upon presentation of the proofs.
